Viena no New Moon festivāla koncertu ķēdes sastāvdaļām būs grupa X – trīs radošu un spilgtu personību satikšanās mūzikā. Iepriekš kopā uzstājušies Lilijas koncerteksāmenā ar džeza standartiem un oriģināldarbiem klavieru trio sastāvā. Šoreiz grupa kāps uz skatuves ar pavisam jaunām skaņām, kurās satiksies indie, alternative, rock, pop un jazz mūzikas žanri- bīžiem trausla, brīžiem spēcīga, bet vienmēr patiesa un emocionāli piesātināta mūzika.
Līdzās grupas apvienotājai un dziesmu autorei Lilijai stāv Emīls, kura bungu spēlē atklājas gan viņa iekšējie konflikti, gan kaisle, un Toms, basģitārists ar mierpilnu klātbūtni, kas savieno dažādās pasaules ar zemes sajūtu un iekšēju līdzsvaru.
Grupu vieno mīlestība pret mūziku un netveramais – tas, ko nevar izteikt vārdos, bet kas dzīvo starp skaņām.

One of the highlights of the New Moon Festival concert series will be the band X – a meeting of three creative and vibrant personalities through music. They’ve previously performed together at Lilija’s jazz exam concert, playing jazz standards and original compositions as a piano trio. This time, the band takes the stage with an entirely new sound – a blend of indie, alternative, rock, pop, and jazz. At times delicate, at times powerful, their music is always genuine and emotionally rich.

At the heart of the band is Lilija, the songwriter and creative force behind the group, joined by Emīls on drums – where his inner conflicts and passion come alive – and Toms on bass, whose calm presence grounds the music with earthy depth and inner balance.

What unites the group is their love for music and the intangible – that which can’t be put into words, but lives in the space between the notes.
