GUIDE

The festival is situated a mere 40 kilometers south of Riga, in Baldone (Ramatu iela 4), making it easily accessible.
Our festival home is nestled on a hill enveloped by a vibrant forest, and it is also a sanctuary for majestic creatures, with a horse stable right next door!

See the location in "Google Maps" below:

- By car / carpooling. If you're driving to the festival, consider sharing the ride with others who might need a lift! Carpooling is a great way to connect, reduce our footprint, and make the journey more fun. You can offer or find a ride by posting in our Telegram community chat.

- By bus. Hop onto a bus named “Rīga - Baldone” (50-minute drive) and hop out at the stop named “Baznīca”. One-way ticket costs €2. Buses usually arrive every 25 minutes. You can find more information about them here.
Once you get off the bus at “Baznīca”, you'll have to walk back about 100m, then turn left at the intersection and just go straight along the roadway for about 1 km until you see the New Moon Festival parking site on your left. If this sounds a bit complicated, we recommend using navigation.

- Transfer. If you travel by bus and carry a lot of stuff, we can arrange a transfer for you from the bus stop "Baznīca" to the Festival territory. A one-way ticket will cost €5 per person. Please be aware that only cash payments are accepted. If you'd like to make a booking, please contact us on Telegram or WhatsApp (+371 22002240).

To have a pleasant experience, we invite you to bring the following essentials:

- Tent, sleeping bag, blanket and warm clothes (for chill nights)
- Your own dishes (2 bowls, 1 spoon, 1 fork, and a tea mug) for food and drinks, as we intend to avoid using disposable tableware
- Water bottle (there'll be fresh spring water for you to fill up)
- Eco-friendly soap and toothpaste (since the wastewater will be absorbed into the ground)
- A journal (to capture magical New Moon insights)
- A yoga mat
- Musical instruments (for evening jam sessions around the fire)
- Anything else you might need to camp comfortably and feel at home in nature!

Prefer more comfort?
If you're not into camping and would rather have a real bed and some privacy, there’s a guest house called "Grundenberga" just 5 minutes away by car (or about a 35-minute walk). We don’t have a formal partnership with them, but if they still have rooms available, we suggest checking them out as it is one of the closest options and is known for having tidy and comfortable accommodations.

Our festival warmly invites you to nourish yourself with healthy and satisfying vegan meals three times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) prepared by the amazing "Doctor Chef" himself! You can see the menu here (the link will work as soon as the 'Food Pass' is made available).

We will provide everyone with clean and fresh spring water for free. Just bring your own bottle or cup!

There will also be a health stand where you can get yourself a fruit smoothie or freshly squeezed juice for reasonable prices. In addition, there will be other carefully selected vendors offering healthy snacks and drink options throughout the festival.

If you choose, you can freely bring your own food. But please respect our boundaries by making sure it is plant-based! We believe that food is energy, and the energy we'd like to cultivate here is one of love, peace and harmony.

DISCLAIMER: Use of any drugs & alcohol is strictly forbidden at the festival!

Card payments are accepted at the festival, but we kindly encourage using cash as it helps us support local vendors more directly. The closest ATM is located in Baldone city centre, so we recommend arranging your cash needs before arriving.

We love animals! However, for the safety and comfort of both your pets and all festival-goers, please avoid bringing your pets to the festival as we already have a resident dog on-site. If you rely on a service dog and need to bring them along, please reach out to us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Please also be mindful of our neighboring horses, who roam freely near the festival grounds. Outside of the designated horse riding and connection workshop, we kindly ask that you do not feed or interact with the horses, this includes grass or any other food. As gentle as they may seem, unexpected feeding or contact can lead to misunderstandings or issues with our neighbors, and we wish to maintain a respectful, trusting relationship with them. Your mindfulness helps keep this harmony alive.

After receiving your order, we'll send you an e-mail with the order details & ticket information. This e-mail will serve as your ticket to the festival. Make sure you either have it printed out, or have it on your smartphone, whenever you reach the entrance gate.

There will also be an option to buy entry tickets at the gate.

Tickets that are bought for sale prices are non-refundable, but you may change the name of the ticket holder and inform the organizers of the new ticket holder’s name no later than 4 days before the start of the festival.

If you have any technical problems or questions regarding tickets, please let us know by writing us an e-mail (info@newmoon.world) and we’ll do our best to resolve the issue!

Families are warmly invited, and we’ve created a special space just for kids to enjoy. In our dedicated children’s area, little ones can connect with each other, play, and explore under the watchful eye of experienced caretakers.

Kids under 14 get free entry to the festival. From age 15 and up, a ticket is required. While we provide support and supervision in the children’s zone, parents and guardians remain fully responsible for their children throughout the event.

- An outdoor shower will be available on-site. Please use only eco-friendly soaps and shampoos, as the water drains directly into the ground.

- A small stall will be set up where you can charge your phone and other essential devices.

- Clean portable toilets will be available throughout the festival area and regularly serviced.
